Not the clearest picture of Mt. Hood, but I did shoot the photo as I was driving a windy mountain road at sunrise. I visited a school that was in the little town of Estacada, Oregon, on the banks of the trout and salmon-rich Clackamas River.
Gorgeous scenery, a majority of progressive people, amazing local wine, produce and seafood, and the ever-present espresso hut. What's not to love?

Beautiful! I'm especially fond on the wine and espresso parts!
I love the Northwest. Can you move it to the Southeast?
